Andy Elkan won the Penitentiary Break Out 5K with a time of 16:54!

Mike Rivera won the Hoboken 5K with a time of 16:20!

Jeff T hit 33:23 in the Bridge Run for a new 10K PR…also finishing first in his age group!

Bill Ling runs his marathon debut in 2:56:34 in Philly.  Josh Krowicki also runs a debut marathon in just over 3 hours.  Congrats to both runners for stepping up to the big races!

Jay Simon runs a GREAT time of 28:27 in the Rothman 8K.  Jay is looking fitter and stronger each race!

Congrats to all Bneck members competing at the Chicago Marathon this past weekend.  The weather was a little warm, but not warm enough to slow down our boys!  Breakneck took 5th place for the open men’s teams!  Top finishers on our team are listed below.  A big congrats to E Bonnette for picking up a Breakneck Club Record in the Marathon and Johnny G finishing strong as our second fastest male!   Also congrats to Nicky D, Matty C, and Erik G on picking up some new marathon PRs!  See results below!

Mike Rivera – 4:53 – 5th Avenue Mile in NYC

Ed Douglas finished 8th overall and 1st in his age group for the LBI Duathlon on 9/18!

Jeff T – 28:10 for the 8K at a sloppy Paul Short  XC race on 9/30

Andy Elkan won the Virtua 5K in 17:03 on 9/25

Johnny G finished 3rd in 38:54 for the Tim Kerr 7 Miler over Labor Day weekend!

Boz is still going at it, finishing 10th overall in the AC International Triathlon

Tom Rhodes pulled out a 6th place 26:58 8K in the Dickinson XC Invite back on 9/24.

The wind was incredible so don’t judge us by these times!  This was definitely one of the slow years for this race.  Despite the wind, we were able to win the overall team race!  Congrats to everyone who survived the race and a thank you to Bill Ling for grabbing the awards!
